After running the Tinkerbell 10k this past January, and the Castaway Cay 5k later that same week, I felt like a half marathon was in my near future. I decided during the 10k that I was ready for the Disneyland Half Marathon, and maybe even the Dumbo Double Dare! But when registration opened up, I was a little late to get to a computer and the Dumbo was already sold out. So I settled with just the Half.
EJ and I love to eat! My brother, Alex, too! So when he told me about this place in Anaheim that sells “poke bowls,” I was sold. He texted me a picture of his order and I had to have it. When we got to Anaheim for my birthday weekend, PokiNometry was our first stop. I thought my order was delicious and next time I could go for a large instead. I love seafood, and sashimi, which is what this is very similar to. I can’t wait to go again!
Living only 6 hours from Disneyland, my husband and I make an effort to drive down to Southern California whenever possible. Though it would be extremely amazing if we could get our hands on some Disneyland Annual Passes, we don’t think we could make it down there often enough to get our monies worth. BUT, hopefully we will sometime in the future when we don’t have abnormal, nightshift hospital schedules! When we’re there, eating in and around the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite things to do, but there are other hidden gems nearby that my husband and I always try to visit on the way home for some road trip snacks!
